The Lake House
Located on the most pristine lake in Nicaragua, Laguna de Apoyo, The Lake House is the ultimate romantic hide-away. This home is literally at the end of the road so you have privacy and can enjoy the sounds of the jungle and the gentle waves on the lake.
The main house has a large screened patio where you can sit and enjoy the cool breezes from the lake. There is also an out door dining area so you can enjoy your meals while enjoying nature. The living area has comfortable chaise lounges so you can see the lake while relaxing indoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a small snack to a full blown candlelight dinner. OR, if you prefer, sit back and let your own private cook take care of meals for you.
The master bedroom has incredible views of the lake and opens up onto the patio. The bathroom, which features an amazing stone and rock shower, will take your breath away. All the details of the house are incredible from the stone work to the custom made furnishings. There are some beautiful antique furnishings and colorful artwork adorns the walls.
For additional guests, there is a small casita located on the property. It has a small kitchen, private bath, queen bed and air conditioning. Following the steps down to the water, you will find a beautiful palapa with comfortable seating, an extra wide hammock, a mini refrigerator and ceiling fans. This is a great place to just hang out and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. The lake is only a stones throw from your back gate. The laguna is said to have medicinal powers and can regenerate your body and soul. There are two kayaks available for your use so that you can enjoy being on the water and seeing the laguna in a whole different way.
